Re: [Mod] Super Duper Walls! [sdwalls]
Two updates a month? Awesome! OvO
But this time it’s just a small one!
Some games might overwrite the digging function which could make it impossible to toggle between walls and pillars. To circumvent this, a new option was introduced. It can be either set in the client configuration (globally ...

Re: Lag on LAN server
No, it's clearly different ?

To be clear, we're ...

Re: Lag on LAN server
Setting up a LAN server or a server reachable from the Internet does not differ.
Is the LAN wired or wireless. If it is wireless, do you use a repeater?

Re: Strange clients
Do we know where we can find the source code/instances for these clients? or is there some other piece of information that hints to them being mobile clients (and specifically forks of the mobile client)
As if those people would care about licenses. They do some optimization on the clients to ...

Re: GitHub just keeps getting worse (or: Why is Luanti not on Codeberg already?)
And then there's saying "he needs to get a job done," which is implying that he somehow can't do that on Codeberg.
You can get the job done perfectly on Codeberg (or selfhosted Forgejo instance).
It's more like you cannot get the job done properly anymore on GitHub because Microsoft recently ...

Re: What games should we feature at FOSDEM?
Maybe we could use categories? Those games fall under the same category (exploring, building, crafting, and surviving in an open world), so only the one with most votes will make it into the next round.

Last update introduced basic world-specific configuration, this update now uses it throughout the mod, including the built-in support features which were completely overhauled (no worries, all wall node IDs are the same, nothing is lost).

Re: What games should we feature at FOSDEM?
I have half a mind to split this topic into "What games should we feature at FOSDEM 2027"
aka. “Everyone posts their three favorite games” 🤣
Maybe the game decision for next FOSDEM can be made in the content database instead of in a forum disucssion? I mean, there is a rating system implemented ...

My personal highlight:
Such a minor detail, but such a huge effect!
It instantly feels so much better when holding the build button now! 🤩Fixed incorrect animation state when placing nodes quickly (jordan4ibanez)

Sometimes, if you have nothing nice to say, it's better to say nothing at all.
See his latest post in his weird cringy rating system he made up and that has zero relevance, is not legally binding under any juristiction, and has and no adoption outside his own world.
He is currently in "that ...

… which makes it impossible to translate strings using the common gettext tooling.rubenwardy wrote: ↑Sun May 03, 2026 14:35If your concern is convenience, it's common to make a util function for this called FS
Code: Select all
