Re: [MOD] Ethereal NG [1.34] [ethereal]
Well, I do have a few potential more options: What could you do with Lithium? Considering that Lithium is necessary for Battery creation, and many mods seem to hint towards the creation of electrical sources, batteries being one of them.

Re: [Mod] Mobs Redo [1.63] [mobs]
@Arceusl - It's not a lack of detection but done on purpose, even if damage is disabled I want mobs to attack players unless either of the settings above is enabled. Different servers and games tweak their world to be exactly the way they want and this gives them the choice.
But I play ...

Re: [Mod] Mobs Redo [1.63] [mobs]
@Arceusl - I dont know if you've reliased but... Minetest isn't Minecraft :P
I know, but the coding is quite similar, there's Creative Mode & Survival Mode. Though the Damage system is separated from the Creative/Survival Modes, apparently the lack of a detection system allows mobs to damage ...

Re: [Mod] Mobs Redo [1.63] [mobs]
@Arceusl - There's a settings 'only_peaceful_mobs' and 'enable_peaceful_player' just for that.
Well, Minecraft doesn't do that. In that game mobs appear according to difficulty, and if you play on any difficulty that isn't Peaceful, all mobs can appear, and Minecraft also can detect if you're ...

Re: Why did you switch from Minecraft to Luanti?
I was ejected from Minecraft by my father. I ran across Luanti because of F-Droid by chance.

Why are mobs still able to attack the player if Damage is disabled? Is that an oversight?

Re: Update:
Resolves that mistake.
Also, I'm currently refusing the 5.17 update for Luanti, I have my reasons, because I'm still extremely concerned about an absolute breakdown of the Android application again.

Re: [Mod] Farming Redo [1.50] [farming]
But why then? If 15 is the maximum, why bother having only 0-14 be for nose sources, when 15 is the maximum? In Minecraft this wouldn't be a problem at all, here in MineTest it does create problems now.

Hold on, I think I discovered an anomaly with the Multiplant mod that actually doesn't add up: I was able to get them to grow naturally, but when they grew, the light was beginning to dim, which means that the light level has to be 13 or less, but, most plants (Barring Rhubarb) are able to grow at ...

Re: Update:
@Arceusl - What ores and what would they be used for ?
There's tons of them: Cobalt, Silver, Nickel, Germanium, Tungsten, Titanium, Zinc, Mithril, Emerald, Ruby, Topaz, Aquamarine, the list goes on & on & on! If you look at every Ore mod that's compatible with MineTest, you can get a complete ...

Re: Luanti removed from Google Play due to baseless AI copyright notice
Anyway.
Thank you for this blogpost, it is very well-written. I especially like how you even listed all the textures in Luanti to SHUT DOWN the whole "copyright" argument to begin with.
And yeah, (almost) everything about this sucks. Copyright sucks, the DMCA sucks, bullshit "AI" usage sucks ...

Re: Luanti removed from Google Play due to baseless AI copyright notice
The team reports no specific claims of infringing assets in the takedown notice. A good faith system would find infringing assets automatically and give a list to the developer for rectification. This system is none of that, it's just a chilling effect that's allowed way too free of a reign on the ...

AI is a scourge released upon humanity.
It is already being grossly, and dangerously misused and especially mistrusted by governing bodies and malicious parties throughout the world.
Oddly enough, the variety most used (chatGPT), is also the most unreliable regarding factual / truthful ...

Re: ChatGPT Testing...
For a giggle I asked Chat GPT to create some lucky blocks, and this is what it came up with ( after a few bug fixes ).
While I dont use ai in my own mods, this was an interesting test to see how well it knew how to code in Lua and use the mod API.
Good man, keeping the AI generated stuff ...

Might hold off, just in case something serious has broken on the Android end, it's better to ensure that people push it's limits and see if anything broke because of the update.

It's been a while since I made the Charcoal update suggestion, and it shows! Charcoal was going to be a joke item at first considering it was only going to have 10 seconds worth of time as a fuel source (Bad), but now it's 30 seconds per charcoal, and 9 can be combined into a single charcoal block ...

Re: Update:
- Fix nametag dupe glitch (thanks monk-afk).
@Arceusl - Blockbench should let you load the model and export as .gltf which the latest luanti engine can load.
But then how do I accomplish that on Android?
Hi Arceus. I saw this reddit post about running Luanti via Termux lately and wonder ...
