I'm proud to announce the grand-reopening of Club Equinox, now on the Minetest open-source platform!
Originally launched in May 2001, Club Equinox presents the first-ever 3D simulation of a dance club, including virtual soundsystem, video system, and intelligent DMX lighting and special effects, all true to the real-life equivalent!
Just like a real club, you are right in the middle of the action with other party-goers. You can groove like crazy in front of your friends or just chill out on the side of the floor. The DJ handles the sound, lighting, and video systems. All you need to worry about is having fun!
Both the client and server have been custom-engineered for the optimal party-going experience.Linux and Windows platforms are currently supported, and builds will be made available here very soon. For the best performance possible, a high-bandwith connection and 3D gaming PC are strongly recommended.

PrideBucks(tm) can be used to buy virtual energy drinks at either of the three bars. Energy drinks may raise your stamina or produce trippy visual effects while dancing. - Action Cues
Action Cues are specialty inventory items that are used for performing dance maneuvers as well as other physical actions like waving, clapping, fist-pumping, etc. - Vocal Cues
Vocal Cues are specialty inventory items for vocalizing emotions including a variety of cheers, screams, whistles, etc. in both feminine and masculine vocal ranges.

To fill this void, Club Equinox will be bringing the party directly to your living room in virtual reality!
The online event takes place on Sunday, June 28 from 6 PM Central (2300 GMT) until 1 AM Central featuring a lineup of four DJs spinning your favourite pride anthems, party bangers, and more. All our LGBTQ friends, family, and allies are invited to join us for a night of exciting memories.
