UFO Race is a complete overhaul of Minetest transforming it into a totally different game. Hop into your UFO and navigate around the dangerous courses (you can create yourself!) there are coins to collect and hazards to avoid.

Currently there are just some tiny bugs left to be removed, plus a multiplayer test has to be done. Then structure the folders and rename some files and it'll be done!

Oh, look. A reason to play mintest again.

Actually this is an aspect of Minetest I was hoping for for a long time. When the engine, becomes more like a real engine, then it will allow for all sorts of games. What is now called subgame, in half of the cases could just be a mod. But with changes deep inside the engine, one would be able to make role play games and real time strategies and jump and runs... To see that something so different from minetest_game is possible makes me trust in the project again.

Others have said it, I'll say it again because it should be repeated more : you are a one-man reason for minetest to exist. To bad you seem to be the only one :(

He stopped working on his other game for Minetest, Voxus, so maybe he abandoned this one as well.
