[Mod] Go creative! Go! [materials]

by Krock » Post

Materials
This mod adds materials from other mods (without compatibility issues) and a material generator which allows to convert 33 stone and 1 mese crystal fragment to 6 materials.
If you enable one of the supported mods, then the special material will become stone and no longer show up in the material generator formspec.

The material generator:

The generator is protected by a protection mod.
This means, you can access to it if you can modify the area.

Materials added from:
technic_worldgen
concrete

Depends:
default
moreblocks (optional, for stairsplus, not added yet)
<"materials added from"> (optional)

Licenses:
Codes: WTFPL
For textures, see README.txt

Sounds like a good idea. Stone/cobble is available in huge quantities, while other ressources may be too rare normally for building a house out of them. It's good if there's more choice regarding materials.

If more and more blocks are supported, you may eventually run out of space in the formspec menu :-)
A list of my mods can be found here.

True, true. If this limit is reached, I'll write a patch for it ^^

Could you post this mod in the forums of Freeminer too? That fork of Minetest really needs more life.

Yes I can but I'm not sure if it will be compatible.

Is that true for even the latest development build of Freeminer? CraigyDavi and Jojoa1997 make development builds for it. I can't see why it wouldn't work in the latest GitHub version.
