Minetest mod "freeze"
This mod utilizes an invisible entity to freeze player movement.
Especially useful against griefing.
Commands (requires kick priv):
- /freeze <playername>
- /unfreeze <playername>
Requires version >=0.4.16
License: Code is MIT. Texture is by Shara RedCat (CC BY-SA 3.0 or higher).

Hmm... I guess there's no "frozen player" texture... but would be really interesting. Something like a semi transparent ice block in which the player stucks... ^^

There is no freeze texture because the player doesn't need to know that it got attached to an entity.
That's why the collision box of the entity is 0.01 in all directions and the texture is transparent.
