A simple mod to have per-world time speed settings, and make them different between day and night.
Usage: /nightandday <day_time_speed> <night_time_speed>
Values must be integer numbers.
You can safely enable this mod on all your local worlds, the default speeds for day and night are set to 72, so if you have multiple local worlds, this mod will keep your local world time speeds set to the default, and only apply the custom settings to the worlds where you have changed the values.

[Mod] Night and Day [nightandday]
Re: [mod]night and day[nightandday]
I have no idea. I'm not even going to look at it. Someone in #minetest was asking for this, and I cobbled this up in ~20 minutes. Feel free to send patches.Linuxdirk wrote:Like this?

Re: [Mod] Night and Day [nightandday]
From the descriptions, no, these aren't remotely the same. Sofar's changes the speed of the daily cycle, but on a per-world basis. Linuxdirk, yours instead makes it so night passes more quickly, changing the balance between day and night.

Re: [Mod] Night and Day [nightandday]
just downloaded This MOD
on my regular MTG session---------- it is very good, but the skybox seems to move fast with the moon, but also the stars go crazy fast, if This MOD is still being looked at, it would be a good idea to tweak some of the best aspects of It
in the meantime, i'll get my ITEM storage fixed while there is still some daylight :)
