[09.09.23] Bugfix release 1.2.1.
  • Shelves objects of "drawer" shelf type don't step over their movement distance border anymore.
  • Entirely fixed the connection API of "directional" type.
  • Aligned attached player rotation according to the seat facedir.

From glowing materials? That sounds somehow weird and pretty specifically. In any case so far I'm not sure whether I will do that since I am going to work now on new doors, windows and stairs and I don't have that in my ToDo list. Probably I will take a look in your mod later to understand what you want.

Create something like a glow item frame, glow painting, glowing wooden sign and most of a special kind of lamp that can hold in any of the items that glow from my mod, and even displays it. Well if you feel my request is not good, I will pull up a request in luxury_decor

OK enough of pointless requests, but I have another one for you. Could you change the plant placement on the flowers ponts one pixel downwards so that it looks like that they have been placed on the flowerpot and not in thin air.

During my testing of this latest release, I have identified several issues, with the most prominent problem being related to the use of entities. These issues manifest in various ways, such as incorrect orientations and frequent crashes when attempting to place objects like countertops. The challenges with entities have proven to be the most complicated aspect of the mod.

Despite these issues, we are keen to continue using MultiDecor in Moonlight Falls as our server fully supports it. However, the entity-related problems have been causing significant disruptions, making it challenging for us to fully enjoy the mod's features.

I want to assure you that I am more than willing to provide further information or assist in any way possible to help resolve these issues. Please do not hesitate to contact me for additional details or if you require assistance in reproducing these errors. We believe in the potential of MultiDecor and are eager to see it become a seamless and enjoyable addition to our server.

Hi kristovish. Could you please open an issue (or few issues) on my modpack's github repo with description of those crashes? In order to solve them, I need to know on which circumstances they happen, just listing error messages is not sufficient for understanding the whole situation. So I am eager to see your open issues with detailed description in order to be able to reproduce the corresponding issue and then fix.

[24.09.23] Release 1.2.2.
  • The objects counterparts of the "sym_doors" shelf type share the same object data now.
  • Added a few more bathroom tiles including ones with patterns.
  • Improved style textures and craft recipes of the bathroom furniture.
  • Fixed the bug of the pots/vase when a picked flower from the pots/vase couldn't be put in the player inventory (just disappeared actually).
  • Detached inventories of destructed shelves are deleted now.
  • Scaled down some furniture items as the kitchen cutlery, paper with reel, underwear tank and other.

  • Added the bathroom slatted ceiling (with lamp and without).
  • Added the bathroom shower base.
  • Improved the water flows of all taps (increased the particles count and adjusted their positions).
  • Replaced the stone and silver sandstone in the craft recipes of both kitchen garnitures to the slab stone and marble sheet correspondingly.

Great that you did it, but I'm still on with my silly request to get new_biomes to be supported by this mod

  • Added oddly_breakable_by_hand=1 group for all materials except stone and metal.

[07.11.23] Bugfix Release 1.2.5.
  • Sound for the ceiling fan.
  • Fixed crashes relating to the shelves and taps placed before upgrading to 1.2.x versions.
  • Optimized the work of the ceiling fan and floor clock.
  • Added placement API checking for a free space for all kinds of furniture to be placed.
  • Brightened the textures of the oil (fluent and solid).
  • Optimized the spawn parameters of the oil, wolfram and zinc (decreased the spawn frequency, minimal y spawn level). Also zinc and wolfram don't emit light anymore.
Next major update will be called "Doors Update" and dedicated mainly to adding new doors, windows, also stairs, wallpapers, siding and painting system.

Still having disappearing round and wooden lights. You place them and 3 seconds later they disappear. A couple of other items have the same problem.

I don't have that issue with those lights. In my case they are placed how all remain stuff do. How and where do you place them? Or might be just in some protected area and didn't you notice that? Also which a couple of other items does behave similar?

I will have to recheck the mod to let you know what the others are. However I try to attach those light to ceilings and it doesn't matter where. Even in buildings I have created. It's a great mod, just wish I can figure out what is causing the problem.

Can you show a video demonstrating that strange bug? Because I can not reproduce it.

[30.03.24] Release 1.3.0! Doors and Stairs Update

The new major update has a goal to add a plenty of new kinds of doors, windows and stairs. Also, it adds a few sorts of wallpapers that can be stuck onto wall and then picked off with the scraper. The new spatula tool allows to overlay the plaster layers on ceilings/walls/floors. Another important novation is the support of the painting on some furniture components like chairs, beds, lamps, sofas and etc, all what has a wool cloth on its own.
  • Added plinths (straight/corner).
  • Added new doors (simple/patterned/locked).
  • Added one-block sized windows and two-block height window doors.
  • Added straight and spiral stair segments.
  • Added plank stairs, also straight, spiral and variants of with banisters.
  • New connection type "vertical" (WIP).
  • Added clock, banisters and hanging APIs.
  • Changed the doors API to allow the locking for doors.
  • Added wallpapers and plaster.
  • Added spatula (for sticking the plaster), scraper (for scraping off wallpapers/plaster) and paint brush (for painting furniture items).
  • Transformed all positional sounds from stereo to mono.
  • Added louvers for the windows.
  • Added painting system with using the nodes palettes.
  • The granite generates in a form of horizontal sheets underground now.
  • Don't play another crafting sounds when there is already some playing one.
  • Improved a few crafting ingredients textures.
  • Added oddly_breakable_by_hand=1 for the tiles.

[10.06.24] Bugfix Release 1.3.1.
  • Added a check for protection violation on trying to strip off someone's wallpapers, paints and plaster. Added also for the flower pots.
  • Fixed a crash after putting items into cooker or trash inv lists if the given shelf is invalid.
  • Fixed the marble sheet recipe (it is crafted from the marble slab now).
  • Replaced the stone ingredient with the granite in the kitchen garniture recipes.
  • Added models for three new sliding doors and sound (unfinished by this release yet).
