Re: [Game] Glitch [1.2.4]
Hey, I have to say even with no action or violence, this game is the best adventure game in the game jam, no doubt it won, and I have to say the tracks are amazing

Version 1.3.0 released!
Version 1.3.0 has been released!
I made this release because a player complained the black-and-white noise blocks are too distracting and causing stress. So I added a game setting called "Animate white noise" to disable the noise animation. If you do this, these blocks will stop all animation in the game. I hope this helps!
(To edit the game settings in Minetest 5.8.0, in the main menu click on the "Gears" (settings) icon and select Glitch in the settings list.)
Other updates:

Other updates:
- French translation update
- Game name and description now translatable (does not work until Minetest 5.9.0 is released)
- Typo fixes

Version 1.3.1 released!
Version 1.3.1 has been released!
The game has a long-standing issue that the game physics are wrong if the player has used any custom player movement settings (walk speed, climb speed, jump height, etc.) in their Minetest settings. The problem is that this breaks the game's intended gameplay and level design, which are carefully designed around the game's chosen physics. What's worse, it's very easy for this to happen by accident.
It seems there is still no proper fix for this, but I decided to do the next-best thing which is to display a warning screen when you launch the game and it detects if any movement settings are off. You are given the choice whether to fix those settings yourself or keep playing anyway (but then there are no guarantees the game will work!).
I added this because this very real problem was very invisible to the player. There's a risk the player might launch the game in a bad state and will never notice it. This risk is now gone.
It's not a TRUE bugfix however. Basically I'm waiting for Minetest to behave better about game settings that the player can't that easily wreck a game's vision by accident.
I assume not many players actually alter the player movement settings so it might only affect a minority. But better safe than sorry.
