If anyone has trouble launching 0.4.x because of missing libspatialindex.so.6 creating a symlink from /usr/lib/libspatialindex.so seems to work for now.

LinuxGaming2, u can use a app "Kawaii World".The MultiCraft app used to work, but now it doesn't.

I found "Athar Craft 2021" app which is similar to "Kawaii World"

I believe there are still a few unofficial iOS apps that can connected to Minetest 0.4 servers. I'm not as familiar with the options for Android, as I only have an iPad. And yes, sadly Multicraft dropped support for the older network protocol a couple years ago. Perhaps if we can compile a list of known working apps, then I'll go ahead add it at the beginning of this topic for reference.

On a sidenote: It's great to see all of you again! I really look forward to partying it up with our JT2 fam on new years!

It's time to get this party hype for 2025! 🎉

Our 8th annual new year's countdown takes place tomorrow night at Lag Memorial Plaza! The celebration kicks off at midnight with a massive balloon drop and dazzling fireworks show followed by music and dancing at Club Nemo.

There's no cover charge to attend the virtual dance party! Simply enter your invite code on the ViaTuner homepage when prompted, and you'll be connected to the livestream. Note: Headphones are recommended for the most immersive experience.



Here's the full lineup of what's in store for tomorrow night:

I'm happy to report that the Spawncam mod has been completely overhauled to resolve a number of longstanding issues. These are mostly backend fixes and code refactoring, but it will greatly improve stability and reliability. In particular, I finally tracked down the cause of the camera becoming randomly detached. So that is good news!

There are many other plans to improve the spawncam on the horizon:

• An automatic "Server Offline" screen when the server shuts down.
• Animated overlays and chatbot alerts for new followers on Twitch.
• Informational screens showing realtime player and server stats.
• A scrolling ticker with weather info (temperature, wind speed, etc.)
• Twitch chat commands for switching between points of interest.

Of course, if anyone has recommendations for other improvements (including on the Twitch stream), please drop me a note!

Look forward to many more opportunities to win BIG throughout 2025! The rules are simple:

• Nemo will be somewhere above ground
• Nemo will be in a protected area (like a base or a home)
• Nemo will not be in the wilderness (beyond road or rail access)
• Nemo will be at least 500 meters from spawn but no further than 2500 meters

Keep in mind, you will not be able to use the teleporter staff or the /near and /where commands until the Finding Nemo challenge is completed. However you can ask for hints about Nemo's location every five minutes.

The next Finding Nemo Challenge will be Sunday, February 2 at noon Central (6:00pm UTC).
