Did you try using it and seeing if it worked?

"a certain texture" - if it's just one, why not copy it into your texture pack directly? Or do you mean an entire pack?

Sorry, my mistake, i was trying to say "texture pack", I'm not that dumb haha, but English is not my forte. Ok i'm going to try it, i was just curious because this is six years without updates.

I've been playing with the script, it needs minor changes to work with modern texture packs, I'm trying to make it to convert textures to mineclone 2.
It would make things very easy for me if someone give me the name of the textures in MC and their equivalent in MT
thank you!

I am working on my own version of the script, using the Go language. I'm trying to get it to work with Mineclonia and modern versions of Minecraft. If anyone wants to use it, or has feedback, here it is: https://codeberg.org/ostech/craft_to_clonia_packs

Even though I'll try to keep the builds up to date, I would still recommend compiling the project yourself, if you can.

My program isn't very complete yet, but here is an image of the John Smith Texture Pack in Mineclonia:

It's good to see progress on your work, so we can make use of packs from Minecraft, but I think you ought to know that it's actually against the licence of the John Smith pack to use it outside of Minecraft. This is a typical problem with stuff from Minecraft, especially older stuff which has crayon licences. But there will be free-culture or freeware packs that you could use.

Here is a picture using Natural Texture Pack instead. Image
I was having a lot of trouble finding texture packs with open licences, but Modrinth seems to have the largest list. I'll keep in mind the licences from now on.

Well that sucks, because now you shouldn't use it in a monetised YouTube video or a website that runs ads, because that would be commercial usage. Bleh.

Is it possible to convert the „normal“ MC textures to a texture pack? I have been looking for a good texture pack looking like MC, but REFI (the title is longer, but I don‘t remember) which I use now has weird textures for some items like iron lumps.

It turns out that a lot of texture packs labeled as MIT on Curseforge or Modrinth use some stolen textures or aren't actually MIT. Do any of you know of any modern texture packs I can use to show this tool off?

You already found it, but for anyone else, there is a separate topic about this. viewtopic.php?t=15226

While mobs and worn armor are not in the converter yet, I have thrown in some support for these mods: I just thought these would be easy to add.

Example using Coterie Craft:

Travelnets can now use lodestone textures. They look slightly better now. Coterie-craft apparently adds a red glow to it. I might go in and have it ignore color later.
