I'm searching for the old dungeon master sprite. The one with different view angles. By the way, does anyone know hot to properly use set_sprite ? Is it still working?

Also, I have a faint memory of some ancient forum post showing 2D mobs, of which parts of the textures combine randomly. But I haven't been able to find it.

Try searching keywords like "phone", "smartphone", "iphone" on websites like opengameart.org for common things like that:

• Search for phone on opengameart.org
• Search for phone on opengameart.org
• Search for phone on opengameart.org

You could also try Deviantart but be wary - most of that is not licensed or not under Creative Commons or similar so you can't use it unless you can see a licence.

A smartphone is also fairly easy to draw, though making it nice is kind of more difficult. It's just a rectangular sheet of glass inside a round-edged rectangle, and maybe some bright colours that look vaguely like a home screen if you want a texture with the screen on. It's only 16-32px so you don't need much detail.
