Are you sure though? The ContentDB page for xmaps says that you can place them on the sides of nodes. Either you couldn't work out how to do that (possibly because it's obscure exactly how to) or it's false advertising.

Yes, I'm sure. Whenever I have placed it on a node it just shows an enlarged version of the hotbar icon

I removed the xmaps inventory search since I figured it out. Xmaps gives you something like this

Can someone please add support for the Ears mod by Unascribed? It makes small changes to the player model based on a "magic number" encoded in the skin texture itself, so no extra textures are needed. This would allow the player model to have furry ears and a tail, which would make MineTest way more appealing for a lot of my friends :3

Another suggestion of mine is a simple smoke mod (smoke by itself) so it can look like smoke is coming from chimneys and such. Similar to mc's campfire or burning hay effects

The Nether mod has a Fumerole node that emits smoke and can be hidden below other nodes to make chimneys smoke :)

I have the nether mod but I can't get the fumerole node. and I don't know the group:node format of it.

Hi, I was using the resizeme mod, and I can fall from 20 blocks high and not get hurt while I'm small. It would be cool if I would get hurt from shorter falls, like say, 1 or 2 block height, is there any way I can fix that?

Maybe you need to put the proper name for the textures and put them into the textures folder, maybe you put something in the wrong place or wrong name.
I fixed that issue 6 months ago. Somebody from this server named Your Land told me to change the name of the textures that I put in the API....
I know no one cares, so I just take matters into my own hands....

I have a proposal to rewrite the best Minecraft mods to Minetest, the requirement is to keep it compatible with the MineClone2 game.

By "rewrite" I mean to import the mod idea and settings and implement with Lua for the Minetest API.

To start, I suggest this mod, as Minetest currently lacks a good horde mod.

Tinkers' Construct (or Silent Gear or other similar mods) should absolutely be possible, since you can update item metadata to modify tool capabilities and textures.

There are at least two mods which imitate Tinkers' Construct.

I don't think either uses the custom metadata textures since both were written long before the feature existed.

A mod that increases online on servers :) Considering that in 3 days on average there are less than 100 players online, you should think about a more appropriate investment of effort.

So that it's not off-topic.

Optional integration into dedicated servers for interaction with the http service minetest.net with a small set of capabilities for managing player statistics (resetting progress, rolling back reset) and viewing locations. I could be wrong, but it seems that minetest management reported a reluctance to develop and tolerate such areas.

Опциональная интеграция в выделенные сервера взаимодействия с http сервисом minetest.net с небольшим набором возможностей по управлению статистикой игрока(сброс прогресса, откат сброса) и просмотра локации. Я могу ошибаться, но кажется руководство minetest сообщало о нежелании развития и терпения подобных направлений.
