[Mintest Game] How do I find rubber trees/saplings?

I'm trying to build stuff in Technic, but I can't find can't find rubber trees or saplings. The inventory/crafting thingy shows appropriate icons, so I think they exist in the game, but I can't find them on the map. Do I just need to keep searching for trees, or is it like finding cotton seeds in grass, or what?

Did you generate the world before you enabled the mod? The trees only generate in previously ungenerated areas. Rubber trees are also kinda rare in most biomes.

There was a bug where they didn't get generated. https://github.com/mt-mods/moretrees/pull/57
To fix this, update your moretrees mod and then go to a new area of your map that has not been generated yet.

Hint: As of now, you can only find rubber tress where the altitude (y coordinate) is smaller equal 8, so don't search for them in mountains, and they only spawn on normal dirt with grass.

(If you only have technic installed, but not moretrees this should not matter for you.)

Thx. Once I knew where to look, it only took a 10 minute motorboat ride to find one. (I then burned down the one I got by cheating. Honest.)
