The server rules have already been posted on the forum. Please read them carefully to avoid any penalties or issues.

Avoid making unnecessary reports. Penalties are applied to ensure fairness and prevent unjust punishment.

Each rule has its corresponding penalty. Please avoid breaking them, as some violations do NOT include warnings ⚠️ and may result in a temporary or permanent ban.





Soon, the rules will be implemented into a system where you must read and accept them whenever you break a rule.

Excellent work so far, crisdan. I use the beowulf anti-cheat mod over on maikerumine's madness, talamh actually made me aware of it back when I took over the server and it works extremely well. I left the beowulf.noclip_hurt.enable setting disabled as that would sometimes trip when a player was carting through a tunnel but I think that has since been fixed. I also make use of the built-in anticheat features of the engine, but with a slight relaxation to help to avoid issues for folks on cellular/5G networks with lag.
In the server's minetest.conf:

# Flags are positive. Uncheck the flag to disable corresponding anticheat module.
# type: flags possible values: digging, interaction, movement
anticheat_flags = digging, interaction, movement

# Tolerance of movement cheat detector.
# Increase the value if players experience stuttery movement.

anticheat_movement_tolerance = 1.2

There were lots of script-kiddie attacks when I initially brought the server back but once the anti-cheat mechanisms were in place for a while they seemed to finally give up.

I'm glad you like Just-Craft 😊
I plan to install the anti-cheat mod before the end of the week; I was busy building the spawn point first.
As with some mods to improve the gameplay experience, it doesn't diminish the importance of having an anti-cheat mod to prevent players with modified clients containing cheats from ruining the server. I will definitely announce its installation on the forum so players are aware.

Hello Averageteen. The Just-Craft apartment building that's still standing was built by the user worldedit. I have nothing to do with its construction; he handles the design and everything.
